Fatherhood Called



Tools
Material things, straw in a barn
Oil, chipped paint on the outside of a garage that is breaking down
These material things, untended, left to exist, nothing more
Why?
Fatherhood called
A deeper drive, a more compelling sense of duty, an in-the-marrow responsibility
With the most daunting, unforgiving, worrisome, day-after-day, emotion laden tasks
That offers the most lifting, irrepressible, love-inflating, authentically audacious feeling you can ever have
How?
